We stand on this side of the Easter holiday and we celebrate. We know that the resurrection took place. We know He conquered death. We know the power of salvation.
Jesus’ disciples witnessed these miraculous events and were left with a task.
And that they did. They traveled many miles. Walked some tough roads. Endured pain and heartache. Why? Because they couldn’t keep these things themselves. They wanted others to know the amazing love their Father has for them. They wanted to see others repent and receive everlasting life. They just couldn’t keep it in.
We celebrate the very events that they witnessed. We serve the same living God. Why is it harder for us to share? Why do we clam up when talking to a friend that might not be a believer?
We are given the same task.
