In the darkness, I found what true light is. In the depths, I found just how far He can reach. In the pain, I found the healer.
So many times, I have tried to do it on my own. Find my own solution. Fight my own battles.
This time it was bigger than I could handle.
We try to keep our blog a positive place, but there are times that we have to be real. I have been struggling with some serious attacks of the enemy. I have felt the enemy press in from time to time in the past but I never felt it to this degree until recently. You see, when you make a claim to live for God, the enemy seeks to destroy. When you take a step down that narrow path, he is on your heels.
People have poured out good advice, even Godly advice and it has fallen on deaf ears. I had to find God in this valley. It’s easy to praise Him on the mountain tops. I had to find a way to praise Him in the pit.
About 2 weeks ago, I realized that the answers are in His word. My healing would come from His promises. I just had to grab hold of them.
Am I all of the sudden fine? No. Do I still struggle? Yes. But I am learning to trust Him each day and only focus on one. day. at. a. time!
I felt the need to share this and maybe you are the one struggling that needs to hear these words. Don’t give up! His love, grace, and mercy can reach into the deepest and darkest of places. Choose this day, to praise Him. Grab hold of His promises and claim victory because YOU are His beloved!
