The Middle

TrustI get a little anxious in the middle. In the middle of transitions my brain begins to race and the worry creeps in. Ever so subtly at first but then I realize its presence.

We’re in the middle right now. In the middle of trying to sell our house. In the middle of trying to find another house in Texas. In the middle of finishing projects here and looking forward to projects ahead. The questions and decisions come daily and close behind is worry. The pit sets into my stomach. Oh how I wish my first response was whole and complete trust in my heavenly Father. That is what I want to do. That is the desire of His heart as well.

Then I pray, Father, you are greater and bigger than my worry or my circumstances. Help me to let go of these things and trust in you.

I think He is gently teaching me to trust, even in the middle.

So when you find yourself in the middle of changes, health issues, marriage conflicts, parenting hurdles, loss, or even a bad day…know that without a doubt He can be trusted. Psalm 25:1 In you, Lord my God, I put my trust.
