White as Snow

Snow. We’ve had quite a bit of it lately. If I am being honest, a little too much for my liking.

But there is something amazing about snow. Tranquility settles in as it falls. The little flakes pile up to cover the ground. And when it stops, we are left with a blanket of white. Pure. Clean. Spotless. Beautiful.

It makes me think of my life and the power of Jesus. My life has dark spots. Decisions that caused pain. Sin that has left baggage in my heart. But God loved me too much to leave me that way. And He loves you too much to leave you that way. He desires to wash us white as snow. I desire that peacefulness to settle over me. The darkness replaced with white, pure, clean, spotless, beautiful grace.

snow“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord“Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.”
Isaiah 1:18
